Ahh,,, The coveted word "bearding" this is a great tactic used by more people then you think. This includes EVERY sportsbook that bets the games too. Only the books that bet the games do not preach what they practice. Perfect example is Olympic puts up a 2h line before any other book and if you bet his line on the phone you will be placed on hold till the sharper half time specialist guy comes in and moves the line, then you get the line after it is moved and usually worth nothing to you by then. (Cris sometimes does this too)
And you only get the correct line if they are not playing games with the screen. Often times a fake number will be placed on the Don Best screen so that other books will be manipulated into copying the fake number and then beards attack the weak off the screen books who copy him. And I don't mean just spiros beards uchh!! uchhh!! That number is there for a reason.(pity to the thousands of locals that use Don Best who have customers that know better)
The books cost themselves big money by throwing people out. A major portion just come back in using another name. What this does is cost a book a new bonus and a new headache. Now the book has to decipher another sharp account, which ties up the bookmaker and can cause all kind of disruptions down the line. It is amazing that the books don't just use the info from the sharps and move accordingly, instead they look to boot you for beating them to the number. (But it is ok for them to do it)
That is why you should beard. By doing it you can get bets in under an assumed name and not be held up till the account is flagged. Meanwhile you take the bonus money and use it to beat them at there own game.
The only book I know that takes a bet and does not boot you is Cris and Grande.
